What you must avoid during the creation of a website.

Like I promised to you in the previous article where I presented some of the basic things to do and which, with subsequent SEO optimization of the site, will contribute to taking a good position on the search engines, I write in this article about some things you should be avoiding:

1) AVOID SITUATIONS IN WHICH YOU WILL ENCOURAGE USERS

Setting up a link that does not lead anywhere (or leads to a 404 page that does not exist), setting a link name that leads to a non-matching page (e.g. a link for training dogs leads to a page where all the dogs who went through the training are presented), the inability to find a contact form, and the like - all this can contribute to the reduced quality of the site and this just affects the good ranking. You are always trying to find the user in the easiest and quick way to find what he needs.

2) AVOID MAKING DUPLICATED PAGES

Duplicated pages are the most common cause of inability of a website to rank on the first page of Google. Avoid creating duplicate content.

If you have one product that comes in a different grammar, do not make a special page for each package. However such an idea seemes attractive, the site will not work well and confusing both Google and users. Solve it in a different way: e.g. adding functionality that will allow the user to independently select the amount he wants to buy.

3) GROUP CONTENT FROM THE SAME CATEGORY ON ONE PAGE

Do not write about lilies on 3 different pages that have 3 different URLs (the URL is the location of the website or files on the Internet). Make a page explaining everything you need.

4) DO NOT OVERFILL SITE WITH KEYWORDS

A keyword-filled site will almost certainly not be able to rank well. Google has developed an algorithm that closely monitors everything that is presented on the site and site pages and will not allow any kind of manipulation.

Write content on the site for users rather than search engines because it is the only way to success.

5) DO NOT MAKE SITE FOR ADVERTISING

Creating a site that has the primary purpose of attracting users to advertise or which will contain Google ads is by no means a good idea.

Be very careful. Users do not like advertising and sites overwhelmed by unnecessary content. If you have a corporate website, forget about advertisements. They should not be your center of attention at all.

6) THE QUALITY COMES WITH INFORMATION

Your site needs to be abundant with useful information. Then, when he has achieved a sufficient number of visits over a period of time, you can, only then, turn to the monetization of the site and the inclusion of advertisements.

If you keep to these few guidelines while creating the site and directing designers and developers properly, your site will certainly have good search positions. If after that you do the optimization of the site, you will increase your chances of surpassing the competition and will stand on the top of the first page of Google.
