Not all businesses demand meticulous planning! You can start some of on your own and now!

Starting a business alone, is thought to be a huge risk, but not all businesses carry a load of financial risks. There are hundreds of entrepreneurship ideas out there, but I’ll just name 10 of them.

1. Housecleaning. How hard can that be? If you have spare time, you are in good shape and want to earn some extra money, you don’t need a lot of investment to start a housecleaning business. Declare yourself as a housecleaning specialist, upload some photos of your squeaky-clean room(s) and wait for someone to fire you.

2. Office Cleaning. Basically, you could expand your soon-to-exist housecleaning business and also clean offices or any other type of business space. Someone has to do it, so why not you? There’s nothing to be ashamed for if you are aiming at earning extra cash.

3. Pet Anything. Anything that has to do with pets can bring you additional income. If you love animals and they love you back you can have plenty of fun while earning money at the same time as a dog walker, pet groomer, pet-sitter (you don’t have to sit only baby animals) and to many other varieties of what people want to be done with or to their pets. Avoid suggestions that sound illegal, they probably are.

4. Blogging. The most obvious way many of us are making a living these days. Share your ideas, thoughts and feelings online and do it in a professional way and audience will surely come. Make sure you explore ways to actually make money with blogging or you will just end up writing and not getting any cash.

5. Freelancing. Mostly connected to blogging, people offer their services in writing, making videos or other form of media through freelancing. As long as you are good at what you do, you get a few good recommendations, you’ll be fine.

6. Social Media Expert. There are so many social media experts in so many different areas, so if you want to try to stand out at first try to go with something more specific like ‘social media content manager’. Many business owners are not well informed about the specifics of social media and how they actually work, so that’s where you step in.

7. eBay Buy&Sell. Sometimes things you buy on eBay just need a little bit of love in the form of polishing, painting or simply cleaning and you can resell them at a greater price. This is a great source of cash, especially if you have an extra room or time to deal with all of that. And some things you buy can be real hidden gems.

8. Handyman. Everywhere where people live things will be broken. Washing machine, sink, tub, switches, heating, irons etc. If you know how to fix all of those things at your own home, why not charge other people to do it at their homes? When something brakes at my house, I ‘call a guy’. If you have the skills, you could be that guy!

9. Gardening. And I don’t think only about trimming a fence kind of gardening, but everything to do with a garden. People are willing to pay, if you know how they can start growing crops in their own backyards and gain access to fresh vegetables. Maybe they already have them, but they want to grow more on the same lot? You can fix all of their problems, just make it known you are the person to call.

10. Gym Trainer. If you like working out, look lean and have extra free time you would trade for money – you could be a gym trainer. Or any kind of physical trainer (yoga, pilates, Zumba etc). You can rent a part of a gym at specific hours that suit you to have group trainings, or you could do personal trainings for individuals. With time, you could even build a full-time career out of it.
