Why waste the skills you possess when you can make money instead? More small business ideas just for you.

Maybe you have job that doesn’t make you feel good. It’s so frequent you wouldn’t believe it! But what can you do? Well, if you have the skills maybe you can start your own small business and make money with that. What’s to good about these ideas is that you don’t have to risk too much, and if it goes better, maybe one day you can do it full time and really develop your small business into something bigger and more permanent. Just make sure you are passionate about it!

1. Tutor. Math, science, language, biology… We all had/have difficulties with some subjects in school and could use extra help on perfecting our knowledge (think about the efficiency of educational system if we need tutors?). Tutoring is a great way to earn money, because there will always be kids, or parents, who are willing to pay to gain the necessary knowledge. If you are good at ‘school stuff’ you could be a great tutor and make a good additional income out of it. Plus, it’s practically 0 investment to get started!

2. Tour Guide. If you live in a city/town that has many tourists, you could be making some money out of them. Brush up your knowledge about city sights and show the tourist the fun part of your place.

3. Life Coach. If you have a knack for philosophy, are and easy going and likeable person, you can easily fit into one of the jobs of the future – life coaching. I see it as a psychologist without all the drugs and couches. Most of the time it will be about motivating people to do what they already know they want to do. And you can make anywhere between $50 to $250 per hour.

4. eBooks. If you just like writing your opinions and ideas on a paper, maybe you should try to publish? With the rise of the Internet, you can do it almost for free and still expect a compensation. eBooks don’t have to be long, but they do have to be fun and informative.

5. Reviewer. Yes, there are actually people whose job is to review products or services for money. For example, all those girls who blog about makeup. If you become good at it, you get products for free and even get paid to comment on them.

6. Makeup and/or Hairstyle Artist. If you are good at doing makeup and you know how to deal with hair, why not do it for money? You can start small, doing promo online and show your work. I actually know a couple of girls who are making good money with it and they just started doing it because they love it.

7. Voice-Over Artist. Many businesses are creating videos but they lack the right baritone to narrate their video. You could be that guy. It’s fun and easy job to do and you get paid. What more do you want?

8. Instructor. This is a broad area, because you can instruct people how to do pretty much anything. All you need is knowledge. You can give guitar lessons, help people with their workouts, cooking etc. I’m sure you know people who make money out of this! You can join the club!
