If you continue to use the HTTP protocol the Google will index your site as an unsafe.

As we have already mentioned, Google Chrome will soon begin to consider it safe to use only those sites that are on HTTPS-based. In other words, if you continue to use the HTTP protocol and Google indexes your site as unsafe, this can largely negatively affect your online business.

At a time when worldwide, and especially in the European Union, regulations are adopted that directly impact on increasing security and better protection of individuals' personal data on the Internet, as well as the greater responsibility of companies that for any reason collect sensitive information, we are sure you would not love to find yourself among those who are categorized as unsafe, unreliable or those whose site is not safe.

More on the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) that will put into effect in the European Union on May 25, 2018, and affect all those operating with legal entities from the EU, you can read here.

In this text, however, we also point out how to connect your website to a group of secure sites on the Internet by switching from HTTP to HTTPS. This means that using HTTPS protocol and SSL encryption your website will be positively evaluated, which will also affect the public's better image of your brand or services that you offer, and users will not be afraid to buy the desired products through your site or online store because will know that all of their private data is kept safe and secure.

Unfortunately, there is always the possibility of a hacker attack on a server or a complete network, there are also weak points in the software, and even lower performance of SSL encryption may be possible, depending on the version of the certificate. Therefore, there are no guarantees that using HTTPS protocol your site will be 100% protected from unwanted attacks, misuse or theft of confidential data.

However, one thing is certain - if you move to the safe and secure HTTPS sites, you will have less concern, your visitors will also not have to worry about the security of their data, and your web pages will be recognized by browsers and browsers as reliable, credible and as pages of integrity.

It's not a small thing, you'll agree.
