Meeting the growing demand for biaxially stretched film by generating a higher output of existing lines will be the new trend in the Biax Film industry.

Increasing the output of existing lines is almost always hindered by the layout of the TDO especially regarding the length!

It's all about increasing the heat transfer value which cannot be improved by higher temperatures or higher airspeed. With standard  Chain Track Systems, the minimum distance of the nozzles to the film is given by the construction height of the chain track system. 

The System and its advantages, especially for higher output of existing machines, were introduced at Plast India 2019. Please read this Article in Modern Plastics India.

Existing Chain Track Systems depending on the supplier have a distance from Nozzles to the film between about 150 to 220 mm. By using the RST System this distance can be reduced to about half leading to a more than 50 % increased Heat Transfer Value which can be used for higher throughput with the same TDO length and/or substantially lower energy cost.

The Total construction height of the RST System is only 170 mm as can be seen here:
