In a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece, Ashton has released the details about the preparations undertaken by the European Commission in cooperation with the European Investment Bank and other European institutions with the aim of "immediate financial support to Ukraine".

At the same time, the Slovak Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that the top diplomats of Slovakia, Czech Republic and Hungary are traveling to Ukraine on Friday to meet with representatives of the new government, reports Reuters.
The Voice of Russia reported that the Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski, after meeting with his Czech counterpart Ljubomir Zaoralek said that Poland and the Czech Republic are ready to cooperate with the new government in Kiev and to support the territorial integrity of Ukraine. - We believe that the main task is preserving the independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine - he said at a press conference in Warsaw. Sikorski added that separatism in Ukraine was "a very big mistake."
