Recep Tayip Erdogan, the Prime Minister of Turkey, again got the world public attention. He announced the ban of Twitter in his country!
Guess what? He really did it. It was supposed to protect the privacy of Turkish citizens. How is that possible? Well it’s possible that it is not 100% safe for someones privacy, but you won’t make it safer by banning it!

That wasn’t the real solution. That was actually, and probably, some kind of other way of dealing with everyday problems in Turkish political scene.
However, and hopefully, this didn’t get its full potential. Lucky people, and with a bit of knowledge, got a way to go around the ban and to make their way to the Twitter account they’ve got!

So they’ve just turned the whole ban into a mocking opportunity. Even the company Twitter made a move to make it possible for the people in Turkey that want to tweet. They made it possible to send tweets via text messages.
It’s a serious thing. Twitter represents the gateway to speech freedom all around the world. And yet, somebody bans it, with what reason?
We really got things to be concerned of these days.
