2003: The second generation of Prius presented in New York

2003: EuroNCAP names Prius II as the safest car in protection of children passangers

2009: The third generation of Prius

2009: Toyota Prius III gets 1.8 liter petrol engine

2009-2010: Prius wins 9 international design rewards

2011: The first compact Prius "C" was launched

2011: Prius "V" was presented, and in Europe it is sold under a name Prius Plus

2012: The first Plug-In versions became available

September 2014: Total sales of Prius reached 4.8 million cars
