Japanese Toyota announced it is hastily working on a house robot that will help the elderly and immobile persons to be able to cope without the help of others.

Human Support Robot (HSR) is the name of the machine being developed by Toyota in order to find a solution for disturbing forecasts of the WHO, which announced that by 2050 as many as 22 percent of the world's population will be more than 60 years old.

HSR is a compact, extremely agile robot with a slight cylindrical body and a movable arm. For now, it can rise objects from the ground and put down things on the shelves, but can also perform other tasks.

Toyota will join forces with other producers in order to accelerate its work on the project.
