It seems to everyone that Lamborghini Aventador SVJ was created to break any neck with its amazing speed. This was probably expected from Lamborghini, to be honest. Previous models are also fast, but in this case, we are talking about the fastest Lamborghini ever. To be totally precise, this car is the fastest car in the world, period. In Germany recently, SVJ destroyed the world's production car record, completing the 20.8km circuit in just 6:44.97.
What is the most amazing about this car is not just its speed, but rather the feeling between the power deliveries in the common single-clutch gearbox with an astonishing ferocity, and such a change in velocity forcing your chin to drop down. Chin dropping lasts for few seconds before the power kicks again and throws you backward again.

This type of gearbox is a part of Lamborghini's old-school tradition, Engineers explain. Gearbox is not as sophisticated as a double-clutch version, and some minor errors can occur like torque interruption, but there is much more to the Aventador SVJ than a gearbox. Another amazing feature is a very well balanced V12 engine.
This is probably the last time we see such a unit without any sort of electrification, just pure mechanics, all future cars are expected to have e-boost systems. Right now, this model is a real firecracker. The engine is a middle-mounted 6.5-litre monster, placed under a vented open-air exo-system, now making a staggering 566kW and 720Nm, transmitting the power to all four wheels through the seven-speed system that shifts gears as fast as a bullet.

The impressive result of all this is an amazing car. From 0-100km/h in two seconds, and 200km/h in only 8.6 seconds; that kind of performance was never achieved before, SVJ is simply a monster car.
Gearbox and the engine are maybe not super sophisticated, but everything else is a high tech on display here such as ALA 2.0 active aerodynamic system. This is a new updated version of Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva system that first appeared on the Huracán Performance model, it is very smart and at the same time very simple solution.

Now take a deep breath: The SVJ came to Australia with $949,640 price tag. The actual price of the car is $646,000 and the rest of the money goes to local tax budget.
