Let us return to the beginning of work on the project, its monitoring and overseeing.
Defining the project phases for which the project team is responsible, or who are the members of the team in charge of the given project, consists of the following items:
- The authorization and identification (need) of the project
- The scope of the project. It should contain the following items:

Starting And End Of The Project
The duration of the entire project must be defined in advance in order to know the dates of the start and end of the project.
Time Management
Time management means how much time team members spend on a given project. The complexity of the project is of great importance for its execution and for the scheduling of delegation of tasks. In order to calculate the time needed to complete the project, a Gantt diagram (Gantt chart) is needed.

Quality Management
Quality and budget are defined on the basis of project requirements. The complexity of the project itself can also influence the use of various analyzes and tools in order to achieve the desired quality required by the client, and it needs to be able to adequately respond to numerous requirements.
Risk Management
When it comes to risks, business and project risks are most often defined. Business risk is related to the possibility that the project does not achieve the expected result, or that the expected product is not produced. On the other hand, project risk refers to threats related to project management. Risk management includes two phases:
1) risk analysis that involves activities related to identification and risk assessment, as well as an assessment of possible impacts on the project.
2) risk management that includes the planning, monitoring, and control of procedures that will adequately respond to risk.

Budget Management
Some of the basic and important issues related to budget management:
- How much time do you need to create a project?
- How complex is the project?
- How many members are involved in the project and how many hours are spent working on the project?
- What unexpected parameters have affected or can influence the project?
When this is done, the exact amount that is the upper limit of the budget should be clearly defined.
Project Management Methodology (Number Of Forms, Diagrams, Checklists)
There are various programs that can help manage specific projects such as MS Project, OneNote, Vivify Scrum ... After all, it all depends on the team in which you work and the type of project manager you work on, such as:
- product development
- research
- engineering
- system development
Use Statistics
The criterion of (un)success rate shows where the direction is going and where errors are made. Statistics are always very helpful in designing projects because it makes it easy to see the error or parameter that has adversely affected the project.
