On the French market in April it was sold 12,7% less electric vehicles than in the same month in 2013, and France moved down to the third place in electric vehicles sales, behind Germany and Norway.
In April in france it was sold 821 electric vehicle, and in a period between Janyary and April it was sold total 3514 electric vehicles and combined vehicles. In the first 4 months of 2013, the drop in sales compared to the same period last year is 29.3%.
At the same time, hybrid vehicles sales are improving, so in April they sold 3572 vehicles with a growth of 9.7% on yearly level. Since the start of the year to the end of April on French market it was sold around 15.000 hybrid vehicles.
Despite the change in trends at French buyers, it is noticed that buyers in this country, as in many other developed European countries, are moving to environmental-friendly products. In some countries, like Netherlands, they like hybrid vehicles most, but in Norway, they preffer electric vehicles.
